Ivy was previously a health leader on H-I-V.net.

As a trans woman I understand how difficult it can be to navigate the healthcare industry, community ignorance, and society-wide stigma all while simply trying to survive. The only way I’ve made it through is by making community with folks who are currently fighting the same battle and listening to the knowledge of people who have been through all this before.

My hope is that I can provide the same empathy and guidance I’ve been given to those on Health Union who are dealing with similar situations. A diagnosis that requires you to reevaluate and withstand so much, too much to do alone.
