HIV Community Advocate JD LeeJD was previously an advocate on H-I-V.net.

JD Lee is a financial professional and a family man. He was diagnosed as HIV+ in 2007 and after realizing that life goes on decided to make the most of the situation. One of the ways he would like to do that is by endeavoring to be an encouragement to others. His hope is to strike a chord with others like him who may not identify with any of the stereotypes and therefore help people broaden their horizons by realizing this is a terrible disease that respects no boundaries. He strongly feels that whatever a person’s background or current situation, they deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and live the highest quality of life possible. JD lives in New York with his wife and a dachshund.
