Pain related to HIV/AIDS complications can be difficult to manage. Are you dealing with pain related to neuropathy? Are you seeing a pain management specialist? Share your thoughts, questions, and recommendations here in this discussion forum.
I see a pain management doctor, an infectious disease doctor, and a bonus doctor (deals with pain conditions and HIV). We have been learning a lot about my issues which were just classified as fibromyalgia by other doctors. I have been diagnosed with chronic intractable pain and autonomic peripheral neuropathy. In my blood work they also found high Epstine-Barr early antigen and toxic mold exposure. I would like more information about autonomic peripheral neuropathy and distal symmetric polyneuropathy. If anybody else is living with these conditions, I would love to hear from them. - Heather R (team member)

for anyone following the thread, I added a forum specifically for neurologic complications like the ones you mentioned. Here's the link: https://h-i-v.net/forums/neurologic-complications - Liz (Team Member)
