The Best Turkey Burger
I have serious fitness goals, but that doesn’t mean I want to eat bland food. These healthier burgers will not only give you a protein-packed entree, but they are incredibly versatile and can be topped with anything or absolutely nothing.

Makes 4 servings

Cook time: 10 minutes
Turkey burger ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey breast (I use 93 percent lean)
- 1 tablespoon of brown mustard
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1/4 cup of parsley
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions for making the turkey burgers
- In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the olive oil. Mix well.
- Form into four 1/2 inch thick patties.
- Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat, making sure all of the pan is coated.
- Cook the patties in the oiled until golden and cooked all the way through (about 5 minutes on each side.)
- Dress how you wish, just remember that condiments and toppings add extra calories
