World AIDS Day Giveaway (NOW CLOSED)

Today, on the 1st of December 2020, we recognize World AIDS Day. World AIDS Day is an international day dedicated to creating more awareness of HIV/AIDS and remembering those who passed away due to AIDS-related illnesses. In its 32nd year, World AIDS Day continues to be a day in which we remember those lost while also recognizing the many improvements in HIV treatment and prevention.

Giveaway for World AIDS Day

This year, we want to give back to our members and visitors on H-I-V.net. World AIDS Day is a time to look back, remember, and honor those who have come before us and paved the way to progress. We are excited to say we will be giving away 2 copies of a unique book combining both photography and written history of HIV/AIDS.

Through the White Door is the story of one photographer’s effort to follow a remarkable group of people who faced the HIV/AIDS crisis head-on and saved a generation of children. This 11x8.5-inch hardcover book includes 212 pages of stunning photography by Smiley N. Pool.
