HIV and Me

I was diagnosed in 2005 just two months before my 21st birthday. I achieved undetectable status 3 months after and have been since. However, the night sweats never went away. I've had to switch medicine a few times due to bone density loss.

Symptoms

I'm now 37 and was feeling really healthy but due to COVID and alcoholism my body feels like it's falling apart. My right shoulder is 3 times the size compared to my left. (20 years of restaurant work and trays). Now I have stomach pain that will wake me from a dead sleep. The ER has me going to see a GI because nothing showed up on the ct scans.

My cd4 is still good but I feel like it has caused other issues because the body is constantly in overdrive. Thanks for letting me express this.
