Hello, I’m Larissa

Hello, my name is Larissa. I'm 24 years old and I've been HIV positive since birth. I discovered this site thanks to Zora Voyce and I've been reading other people's stories for a while now, so I thought why not tell my own. By nature, I'm a pessimist and I have the procrastination disease, so I'm afraid to start writing and not be able to continue.

Also, with the language barrier, it's not easy, as I'm French-speaking. For English, I have to use translation sites, but, if you see mistakes on my texts, understand that the fault lies with the site and not with me oh. Yes, it's important to have someone to blame.

Finding a community of people living with HIV

Right! Now back to the beginning. I'm very happy to have finally found a community for people living with HIV, where everyone can express themselves, free themselves and heal their wounds. In this society, where HIV-positive people are singled out because of an illness, it's reassuring to be able to come together and express ourselves freely.

We hope that one day the world will look at this disease in a different light.
