I take my aging just as it comes!

I am a long-time HIV survivor diagnosed in 1997. I fell ill in 2006 with CD4 3, people said it was a miracle that I survived. Mind you, this happened one year after I traveled to the US; had this gotten me while living in my home country in Africa I would probably be dead. But only the Almighty God knows for sure.
I started my treatment (high quality) in the US until I was forced back home in 2018 to continue on a low-quality treatment.

Aging and in good shape

However, I am in good shape (aging normally) despite my comorbidities. Appearance talking, I am one of those guys that don't look HIV sickened. I look just like a "normal guy".
I am grateful to God.

I ended up with PCP pneumonia and a very low CD4 count when I was diagnosed. I am glad that you were able to have treatment in the US for a while. Although I am sorry that the care you receive at home is not the same quality. This is an area that we still have improvements to make as a society. It is great to hear that you do not look sick. The email inviting community members to the survey should have only gone to those living in the US, but there may have been an oversight in your case. For this particular survey, it is only looking at the experiences of those living in the United States. Hey buddy So sorry for what you have gone for, i am also from north africa and having trouble to get medicens? Do you know any organization in morocco which offer it? Why you statued quality is bad? I thought they ART which afficient medicen for HIV for all of us or is there any advanced medicens? Please Write more and HELP us with your exprience. I am on my 40th and i was diagnosed hiv since almost a year without being able get access to medicens and get treatement. I truly need hand of help as this subject is very disturbing and most does not want to know it or hear it apart of stigmatization

 <inline-mention username="MWarrior" user-id="6221616"/> No, I am not from north Africa. I am from central Africa, Congo to be exact. Wherever you are I think you can get in touch with any hospital service and ask them for the local organization for HIV. I hope this helps.
