Am I the only straight male living with HIV?

I am a straight I heterosexual male however it seems that most people with HIV seem to be either people who use intravenous drugs or the LGBQT Society. I often feel like when I tell people that I have HIV they believe I'm either gay or use drugs intravenously but I do not either

  1. you are not alone in feeling this way, in fact there is a good story shared in our stories section by a community member and I'd be interested to hear what you think. I will link it here - https://h-i-v.net/stories/heterosexual

There is so much misunderstanding about HIV out there that I am sure you are facing. How long have you been living with HIV? How have you been doing lately? - Liz (Team Member)

    1. Alafia (Peace) You are not alone. There are other heterosexual men who are living with HIV. There are men in this community. Please reach out to him for support. Khafre (H-I-V.net Team Member)

      1. HI we are Eunice and Kalvin married for 38 years both of us diagnosed with HIV in 2007 we would absolutely love to connect you with the heterosexual straight HIV community. There is a group you can connect with other straight men on Facebook called straight and positive and another group online called straight talk .
You aren't alone in this community.
