  1. Hi . I can tell you are anxious and it is good that you are seeking out information. I need to note that we are not medical professionals and, for your safety, cannot provide diagnostic or medical advice over the internet. I do want to share with you this article from our editorial team that discusses differences in transmission risk, including estimated risk for particular events/acts: https://h-i-v.net/transmission-risks. Of course, these are estimates and cannot account for every variable in an individual situation. The only way to be sure is through testing and this article discusses getting tested, with information on how and where: https://h-i-v.net/testing-options. Also, this article offers information on types of tests, including the window period for when they will be effective: https://h-i-v.net/test-types. Hope this information is helpful. 1. Thank You..but what do You think about sharing a straw with other people?

      1. Hi . As a non-medical professional, I cannot comment on the risk, but I want to share with you this article on risk from sharing a snorting straw: https://www.thebody.com/article/shared-cocaine-snorting-straw-someone-worried-hepatitis-c-snortin. Note: I also can't vouch for the site, but the journal cite, "Clinical Infectious Diseases" is a a reputable science journal. In addition, much like the first article, this article notes the potential risk, however small, of hepatitis C: https://www.healio.com/news/infectious-disease/20160808/sharing-snorting-utensils-for-drug-use-may-increase-hcv-transmission. For this reason and in regards to sexual contact, it is important to get tested for other STIs as well as HIV. Best, Richard (Team Member)
