I'm assuming I have HIV. What do you think?

Getting a rapid test done in five days. Just curious to see what you think? I'm gay. I was tested in early April and it was negative. I've had unprotected sex three times since then. I'm not on Prep. It's my fault... I know.

Anyway these blotches appeared on my abdomen two weeks ago, and have quickly moved up to my face. I've had a sore throat for weeks, and now I'm starting to feel sick. Slightly light headed. Here's some pics of the rash.

I just don't know what else it could be. I keep my clothes and sheets washed... and I've never had anything like this before.

  1. Hi , I am glad you reached out. I think your rapid test will be later this week according to your last post. It sounds like you've been tested before. If you have any questions about what to expect, this may be helpful: https://h-i-v.net/living/testing-information

In the meantime, this article outlines some of the early symptoms of acute HIV infection: https://h-i-v.net/symptoms/early-stage. There are many things that would cause a rash. I am wondering too if you've spoken to a doctor you trust.
