prep/Mistake
Hey guys how u doing? I just would like to share my experience with you, and receive your opinion.
Exactly one month ago I started taking the prep. I took one pill at around 13.00 and in the evening I had unprotected sex with a stranger who I met on Grindr.
From the day after I have been taking prep every day. I know that the right dose for prep on demand is 2:1:1. So do u think the way I took prep exposed me to a risk to get hiv?
The problem is that for 20 days I feel sick. I have a daily fever, muscle pain headaches swelled lymph nodes etc
I m just worried I might have got hiv 🙁

I am sorry you are feeling so sick and I'm sure it's stressful trying to figure out what's going on. We can't advise you personally on your dosage but can provide information. Correct me if I'm missing something, it seems like you did start taking PrEP within 72 hours of the encounter you're concerned about, and that you've been taking it every day for about a month. There are some side effects of PrEP (including headaches).
