Fear for a risk behaviour

Hello everyone,
I am writing to ask you how risky this situation was: I was with a guy a few days ago. There was no penetration but only frottage (he lying down and I rubbed our genitals on top of him). We were naked and at one point he came. When he came my penis was more or less over his penis, so inevitably some of his cum ended up on my glans.
Can this be defined as risky behavior?

  1. While we cannot determine your personal transmission risk, we can give you some information that I hope will help. f you take a look at the list of risk factors in this article: https://h-i-v.net/diagnosis-testing and determine you want to be tested, there is information about how and when to do so at the end of the article.

In fact, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States encourages all individuals between the ages of 13 and 64 to have at least one HIV test as part of their normal care. Keep us posted on how you are doing, and we wish you the best!

    1. Hello,

Since we are unable to determine transmission, I think it always a good idea to get tested when involved in potentially dangerous sexual interactions. I hope all is well for you. Please keep us updated on ways we can support you now, or in the future.

      1. Hi, are you meaning that I had a potentially dangerous behaviour? Thank you!

      2. Getting tested regularly is just a safe practice for everyone! Have you been tested before? If you are looking to know more about what to expect, this article is a good place to start: https://h-i-v.net/testing-options - Liz (Team Member)

    2. Alafia (Peace) I agree with the others who have replied to your concerns. I would definitely make testing a part of your regular health routine. Khafre (H-I-V.net Team Member)
