Tricked into sex with HIV+
I recently had incentive anal with an HIV+ male. He assured me he was clean, tested and on prep. He showed me pills which gave me confidence.
We only had unprotected sex for not even a minute before I put a condom on.
After the fact he revealed the medicine was actually antiviral and he was undetectable. I'm freaking out about the short exposure. Not sure what I should do and what my risks are. It's been a week so I'm past the PEP timeframe.
I'm freaking out because I don't believe him that's he's undetectable since he lied in the first place...

Alafia (Peace ( It really is unfortunate that he was not honest from the beginning. What to do? You need to get tested for HIV in order to know for sure. The test counselor will provide you with the information you need to get a conclusive response. Until then try to calm down and prepare yourself by finding a testing site near you.
