Ive been living with hiv for two months now.

  1. Hi . Your anxiety is understandable and people here get it. First, let me say that from what you said it sounds like you tried to be forthcoming and acted in the best interest of your partner in arranging for PEP. I need to mention that we are not legal professionals and, for your protection, cannot give legal advice. Different jurisdictions have different laws, although disclosure seems to be a common theme in limiting liability. Another limiting factor seems to be whether or not the person actually contracts HIV. That said, only an attorney with knowledge of the law in your jurisdiction can offer appropriate guidance. This article from our editorial team discusses accessing legal support, with some links that may be helpful: https://h-i-v.net/legal-assistance. Best, Richard (Team Member)

    1. Thanks you richard! 😀 will do

      1. Hi , just checking in. How are you doing? Were you able to find some support and answers to your questions? - Liz (Team Member)

        1. Alafia (Peace) First, I want to say that it's not your fault. You did everything you could to protect him. Has he received an HIV test? Did he take PEP? I hope you find the resources you need to get through this. Khafre (H-I-V.net Team Member)
