IS feeling hot a common symptom for all of hiv patients in acute stage?

Hi guys,
I was wondering if all of hiv patients could tell me what symptoms they faced when they were in there acute stage.... it's been 6 weeks for me I'm dead worried......I feel hot all the time no fever...do u guys too?

  1. I personally did not have any symptoms before being diagnosed. Have you received a confirmatory HIV test? This is a great article to check out: https://h-i-v.net/symptoms

    1. hi Steven. Then why u check up if u don't have any symptoms? And how much time it was spend when u know of it?

    2. Even though I did not have any symptoms I wanted to make sure I was getting tested every three to six months because I was sexually active.

  2. Alafia (Peace) I have also not experienced those symptoms but I will say that I am glad you reached out to ask your question. Do know it is a valid question. Your experience has been experienced by others. You are not alone. Khafre (H-I-V.net Team Member)

    1. How are you feeling now? - Steven (Team Member)

      1. not good I feel dizzy and now I have pains around my testicles and urination feels burning....but I'm so afraid of going to doctor because first a test costs like if I tell in us dollars around 70$...an second I'm shameful and my family would definitely kill me...because I live in a very narrow minded country...and yes that's the reason I can't ask my family for money they would probably suspect and and ask why I need that much money...I'm unemployed and student I don't have that much money for self diagnosis 😔 going to doctor ...If I had to go for diagnoses on my own I can with courage but still I don't have money..now I just wanna die

      2. Where are you currently located? Have you looked into any places that might offer free testing? - Steven (Team Member)

    2. I saw your private message to me as well and feel so worried about you. What you are going through is not your fault and you should not be made to feel ashamed. There is no judgment here, we just know how important it is that some medical professional can review your symptoms to be sure you're okay. In the meantime, this is a site that links to helplines around the world. I hope there is one in your country that can provide support: https://findahelpline.com - Liz (Team Member)
