HIV test result ?

Just got done with my hiv swab test but the result shows one line on lower part of the c and no line or front on T, however at the bottom there’s some red smears what does that mean?

  1. Hi . Your confusion and concern is certainly understandable. I know that typically a line next to the C is indicative of a negative result and that it takes two lines, with one next to the T for a positive. I need to point out that we are not medical professionals and, for your protection, cannot give medical advice or offer diagnostics. Various testing sites indicate that if there is only one line and confusion about if you are looking at a negative, you could consider the test invalid and try again, but again only a medical professional can provide the proper diagnostics. Hope you can get some clarification and answers soon. Best, Richard (Team Member)
