Caleb Keely

Caleb Keely is a gay man living openly and fully with HIV, diagnosed in 2022. Rather than let his diagnosis define or diminish his life, he has chosen to share what that journey actually looks like from the inside.

He writes about the things that matter most to him: navigating dating, dealing with health costs, building meaningful connections, finding joy in everyday moments, and proving — to himself and anyone who needs to hear it — that a full, vibrant life doesn't pause for a diagnosis.

Through his writing on H-I-V.net, he hopes to reach the person who just got their own diagnosis, the partner trying to understand, or the curious reader who wants a more honest picture of what life with HIV looks like today. When he isn’t writing, you can find him walking his dog, cuddling with his cat, or playing video games!
