A Series of Betrayals

When I was in my final year of high school, I met a guy who claimed he liked me. One day, he picked me up to drive me around so that we could talk and get to know each other. I got into his car and he gave me some juice. I remember waking up at a house in a village. He wasn't there, and I was bleeding. He raped me!

Growing my family

One year later, I met the man who married me. We didn't test for HIV. We started living together as husband and wife. I had my firstborn who was very healthy and strong. Then I got pregnant with the 2nd child. I was tested and I turned positive! I went home and told him what had happened at the hospital, so we went together for testing the following day. He turned negative, and I remained positive!

A second betrayal

I asked him to allow me to end the marriage, but he declined. Life wasn't the same again. I lost my 2nd child. My husband turned promiscuous, and I feared for his life because if he turned positive, he would put it on me. In the meantime, I adhered to my treatment and I became undetectable. My husband would tell anybody who knew us that he was waiting for me to die so that he can marry a negative woman just like him. He waited for 15 year but I wasn't dying....so he got really frustrated and started beating me up! He made other women pregnant.....moved in with another woman...but I was still there!

Breaking free

His frustrations with me led him not to provide for the children. Eventually, he beat me up and almost killed me! My kids saved me! Was I ready to leave? No....I kept going strong in the marriage! Eventually, I left. He was now married to my friend! I had 3 kids with him and they are all negative 🙂. I left in peace and by the time I was leaving, he was still negative, which made me happy 😁....but up to now, he still tells people about my status. I wonder why🤷.He has his status, but he cannot stop talking about my positive status! This little virus living in me doesn't bother me, I wonder why it would bother someone else🤔🤔
