Dealing with loneliness
I've been living with this since 2009 by a nurse I was with for over 6 years. She denied giving it to me yet continued to have unprotected sex with me. I tolerated it for a while until I prayed to god and got away from her. I've been by myself since 2019. I haven't met anyone that I can trust and just haven't found what I'm looking for.
That sounds like a really painful experience to carry, especially when it involved someone you trusted for so many years. Leaving that situation was an important step for you, even if being on your own since then has brought its own kind of loneliness. I hope you know you have an entire community here for you, and that you are certainly not alone in that sense. And who knows - maybe the person you have been looking for is out there looking for you, too! Sometimes the right connections come when we least expect them.
