I had Cellulitis, but the doctors thought it was Fournier's Gangrene

Please be cautious when shaving your pubic region. I was recently hospitalized for over a week.

It turned out to be a severe case of Cellulitis, but they were concerned about Fournier's Gangrene, which is more common in the HIV+ community.

A slight cut or ingrown hair down there can have devastating consequences where you can develop a form of Gangrene. Thankfully, I did not in my case. BUT I have gone from shaving down there to using Nivea Nair for Men.
