. I don't know how long it has been since your diagnosis or the status of your treatment, but I can tell you that treatments have come a long way and it is now possible to live a full and happy life. We have community members here who are long-term survivors and have seen how much things have changed. Our patient leader Divina wrote here about "24 Years of Living with Hope:" https://h-i-v.net/living/maintain-hope. Another community member wrote here about realizing that he doesn't live with HIV, rather it lives with him as he goes about living his life: https://h-i-v.net/stories/hiv-lives-with-me. These are just a couple of examples. A full life is possible and hope is real.
